The last few months have been fun. There has been a lot of bike riding with Nolan. Lesley and I have been training for races. She just did the Vancouver, BC half marathon a couple weeks ago with a couple of her girlfriends. I have my first marathon coming up in Portland in a month.
We have been riding our dirt bikes. I got cut off in a corner and went over my handlebars. I landed on my knee and had a big bursa (water filled sack) above my knee cap for a few weeks.
We spend Labor Day in Whistler up in Canada. That place is so awesome and beautiful. The highlight of the trip was the train wreck hike that we went on as well as the Olympic Village. I could easily spend a whole week up there hiking and mountain biking, or better yet, snowboarding.
We went on a family vacation to Bend, OR with all of Lesley's family. We had family pictures. It was good to see the whole family and watch the World Cup soccer, especially before Tyler's family moved to Spain.
Lesley and Nolan also spent some time with my family on a Utah trip. They both had fun.
